Kalypso Media has announced Port Royale 4 (Kalypso Shop | Steam), an all-new entry in its much-loved seafaring trading sim series, financially supported by ‘Film und Medienstiftung NRW’ and developed by Gaming Minds Studios (Railway Empire, Patrician) for release in Q4 2020 on Windows PC, PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

    [PS4+XB1] PlayStation 4 and Xbox One received a little update for the current version 1.8

    Today we released a little update, which included following:

    New features:
    • Added: An option to disable all but historic newspapers.
    • Added: New options to filter train lists.
    • Added: New list for stations, factories, farms and mines.
    • Added: An option to select a DLC background theme for the main menu.
    • Added: A new icon to mark trains delivering wares to warehouses. They do not show a negative balance/values.
    • Added: Employees have European names in France, Germany and Great Britain now.
    • The signal part of the tutorial does not cause a block anymore, if sections of the track are deleted.
    • Stations can be rotated in any case.
    • "I made it, eh" trophy is now awarded, when it is fulfilled by taking over a competitor.
    • No more auctions pop up, when all competitors are out of the game.
    • University title and description in town dialog have been fixed.
    • Fixed some routing issues caused by signal-controlled stations.
