New Forum/Neues Forum


Greetings and hello to all Kalypso veterans, new and old forum users!

For some time, we have wanted to make it easier for all of our players to connect and switch between our services, such as our homepage, customer support and of course the forum, all without the need for multiple accounts.

So with that in mind, we have connected all of these services – and with the new forum in place you will be able to access the homepage, our technical support and the forum itself with your existing Kalypso (-launcher) account. No alternative accounts, usernames or passwords to remember.

Q: Why do I need to create a new Kalypso account, or use my current Kalypso account to log into the forum and the website?
A: With the new account system, you will be able to get:
  • Helpful tips and discussions in our community forum
  • All your Kalypso games in one place at a glance
  • Unbeatable prices and special discount offers in our online shop
  • Easy access to our support form for technical customer service
  • Always be up-to-date, when you subscribe to our newsletter
  • The ability to comment on news items as a member of the Kalypso Community.


Q: With the new forum, what does this mean for me?
A: The domain will still stay the same, so you will always be able to get into the forums with the same link/url/bookmark you had before.

You will still get the latest news and updates about our current and upcoming games in the new forum, too. In addition, as always, this information will be available in both English and German.


What will change is the forum software itself – we will be using vBulletin with the new forum, which will have more features and easier handling when it comes to the general forum usage, both for admins and users. However, due to the move of the forum software, we will not be able to migrate/merge the content from the current forum to the new platform.

Q: So when you already have a Kalypso (launcher) Account you can use all the new stuff without creating another account, right?
A: Right! All you need is a Kalypso account, but if you don’t have one already then you will need to create one. Unfortunately, due to the transition of the forum and new software, we are unable to keep/merge old accounts.

Q: Is there any chance at least to review the old forum’s postings?
A:Yes! We have just closed the forum and moved it, to another url as an archive.
So everything can be looked up, but nothing new can be created, or new accounts be created.

Zusammen mit der neuen Webseite wollen wir es euch damit leichter machen, schnell und bequem auf all unsere Plattformen und Funktionen zugreifen zu können.
Daher werdet ihr nach der Umstellung nur noch einen einzigen Account für all unsere Plattformen benötigen.

Mit einem neuen Forum am Start, was bedeutet das für euch?
Die Domain wird sich nicht ändern, daher werdet ihr auch weiterhin über diesen Link unser Forum aufrufen können.

Auch das neue Forum wird euch wie gewohnt über die wichtigsten und neusten Updates zu aktuellen und kommenden Spielen informieren, sowohl in deutscher als auch in englischer Sprache.


Unsere Forensoftware wird auf vBulletin umstellen, was neben neuen Features vor allem eine einfachere Bedienung und Handhabe bei der Post-/Threaderstellung mit sich bringt.
Zu beachten gilt allerdings: Aufgrund des Wechsels zu einer neuen Forensoftware können wir leider nicht den gesamten Inhalt des derzeitigen Forums übertragen.

Alle, die bereits einen Kalypso(-Launcher) Account besitzen, können diesen also sofort nutzen, um in unserem neuen Forum und den anderen neuen Kanälen voll durchzustarten.
Alle anderen brauchen zur Nutzung des Forums einen neuen (Kalypso) Account, da der alte Foren-Account, wie auch das Forum selbst, nicht übernommen werden kann.

Ist es möglich die Inhalte des alten Forums noch einsehen zu können?
Ja! Das alte Forum wird weiterhin als Archiv zur Verfügung stehen. Allerdings wird es nicht mehr möglich seine neue Postings zu erstellen, oder einen neuen Account dort anzulegen.

    Changelog PS4

    Bugfixes and changes for DLC ‘Evil of the Caribbean’
    • In the level ‘Rum’ we decreased the difficulty by giving the caravan more health
    Bugfixes and changes for DLC ‘Once Upon a Time’
    • We have fixed a problem with wall segments, which disappeared once the dungeon layout was getting more complex
    • The visual look of gold and mana in dungeon walls has been fixed and improved.
    • In the level 'Once upon a time' we have fixed some problems with mission goal countdowns, which ran down to 0, but did not advance or end the game
    • In the level ‘Fog and Sheep’ we decreased the difficulty by adding two ‘Trasher’ to the Dungeon, which results in a slower growth of difficulty
    • In the level 'Fog and Sheep' we fixed some heroes that were resistant to the sheep transformation
    • Additionally, in level 'Fog and Sheep' we have we have fixed a bug that caused Thalya dying during the outro
    • In level 'Kamikaze Sheep' we added a text to make clear that the objective "Kill the 7 Dwarves" is a bonus objective and not needed to win the game
    • In the level ‘Kamikaze Sheep’ we decreased difficulty due to ‘Explosion’ making more damage

    • On the skirmish map 'Playground' now Elrics are allowed to use their skills
    • The skirmish map 'Playground' has received new savegame graphics
    • On Skirmish map 'Playground' in Coop we have fixed the problem, which occurred, when one hand picks something from the unlimited resource rooms, while the other hand picks up something else
    • In the campaign mission 'The Ashspring Swamplands' we have fixed some collisions with graves.
    • In the campaign mission 'The End of Yaina Overproud' will the Portals no longer attack snots
    • In the campaign mission 'The Storming of Dollaran' we have improved the visuals of the effect circle around your favorite Undead ‘Crowley’,
    • In the campaign mission 'Two Sides Of The Medal' we have fixed the city shield protection
    • In the campaign mission 'Ups and Downs' we have improved and fixed the gamepad interaction area for water supplies.
    • We have fixed and balanced all torture workstations to have the same efficiency from now on.
    • We have fixed the effect of 'Malicious torture'
    • Potions will now affect only friendly units, as supposed.
    • We fixed the health bar display of destroyed cages
    • We fixed the attack visual effects of 'Dark Guardian'
    • We integrated various missing sounds
    • We fixed a bug which caused the music to be muted
    • We fixed a bug which caused snot step sounds being incorrectly suppressed
    • In addition, we have fixed sequential dialogs, which sometimes are interrupting themselves.
    • Interface sounds are now affected by the 'effects' volume slider
    • We added the option to hide the 'Go to dungeon' button in multiplayer UI
    • Fixed GobOBots counting twice towards max unit deaths in "Lifesaver" Achievement
