What is Dungeons 3?
Bigger, better, slicker: Dungeons 3 is the Dungeon management game evil doers have been waiting for.[
Dungeons 3 blends Dungeons management simulation and overworld RTS action, whilst building on the success of Dungeons 2 with double the maps, more game modes and massively enhanced performance, making it bigger, better and slicker than ever before, and also the first game of its kind on Xbox One.
What are the main features of Dungeons 3?

When will Dungeons 3 release?
Who is developing Dungeons 3?
Dungeons 3 will be developed by Realmforge Studios, located in Munich, Germany.
Realmforge are the creators and masterminds behind the critically acclaimed Dungeons series, the adventure-game Ceville, and many other titles.
Will Dungeons 3 follow on from the end of Dungeons 2’s Game of Winter storyline? Will it be a fully-fledged sequel, or even a reboot?
Dungeons 3 sets off shortly after the events of Dungeons 2: A Game of Winter, with a completely new storyline on a new continent. You do not need to know the story of Dungeons 1 or Dungeons 2 to enjoy the game, but fans of the series will find a lot of references in the third instalment.
What are the main differences between the first two games and Dungeons 3? What makes it better?
There are three main areas where we wanted to enhance the gameplay experience:
Deeper Dungeon management with loads of options to create the Dungeon YOU want
Enhanced overworld RTS gameplay mechanics for more variety and depth
Double the dungeons - twice the number of maps and overall playtime of Dungeons 2
Random map generation for skirmish and multiplayer maps
Which factions and characters can we expect?
All factions from the previous entries of the Dungeons series will be included:
However, this time you will have the ability to play them all at once. So it is up to you whether you want to be a jack-of-all-trades or would rather specialize in one or two factions, playing with their distinct advantages and disadvantages.
Will there be a co-op mode in Dungeons 3?
Yes! Dungeons 3 will feature a fully-fledged two-player co-op mode for skirmish and multiplayer maps. You can take on the hordes of AI do-gooders with a friend on all platforms!
What languages will be available in Dungeons 3?
The game will support English, German, French, Russian and simplified Chinese.
Will Dungeons 3 will have a multiplayer?
Dungeons 3 will once again feature competitive multiplayer. Up to four players will be able to fight against each other on randomly generated maps.
What multiplayer-modes can be expected?
Domination and King of the Hill modes, as well as team variants, will be implemented for the release of Dungeons 3.
Will there also be a retail version?
Yes, there will be a retail version of Dungeons 3 on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
What engine does Dungeons 3 use?
Dungeons 3 uses the latest version of the Unity 3D engine.
Will there still be an overworld and RTS elements?
Yes. The player will still be able to enter the overworld with his/her creatures and ‘evilize’ it. We have streamlined the RTS gameplay to give the player more control over their units, and have also made the overworld more dynamic and interesting to discover, with castles, swamps, camps and new “islands of evilness” to conquer!
What performance level can we expect from Dungeons 3?
Our aim is to have Dungeons 3 run at an average of 60 FPS on a mid-range PC, and at 30 FPS on consoles.
Will the typical Dungeons humour be back?
Absolutely! Kevan Brighting and Monty Arnold will reprise their roles in the English and German versions respectively as the snarky fairy tale narrator, while a host of new characters will do their best to annoy the hell out of them!
